The book wall
Picture books, chapter books, early readers — ages 0 to 12. Sorted by age, by theme, and by Jalesa's "you have to read this" pile.
The craft tables
Two long tables, eight chairs. Stocked with supplies for whatever today's book suggests. Aprons on the hook.
The reading nook
Cushions, one very specific chair, and a window with good afternoon light. Kids can sit on the floor. That's what it's for.
The kit shelf
Take-home boxes. Watercolor sets, felt kits, book-pairing bundles. The studio, minus the floor you don't have to mop.

We've curated a bookstore full of children's books that inspire curiosity, storytelling, and a sense of wonder — because we believe a love of reading starts with finding the right story. Come in, browse, and let your child discover their next favorite book.

We take those stories off the pages with hands-on crafts that bring adventures to life and build connections between reading and creativity. From painting to clay to collage, our classes and workshops give kids a fun, supportive space to explore, grow, and make something they're proud of.
Let them be little.
We're a place where families slow down and enjoy the joy and simplicity of childhood together. Whether it's a storytime, a craft class, or just browsing the bookstore, every visit is a chance to create memories, meet other families, and be part of a community that values creativity and learning.

We're a small shop, on purpose. It means Jalesa or a teacher is always on the floor and someone here actually knows your kid.

Saturday is the easiest first visit.
Open Studio runs 10am–3pm. No booking. No pressure. Make something, leave with a book, decide if you want to come back.
