Refund policy

We want you to be happy with what you take home. Here is how returns, refunds and cancellations work at Tyrannosaurus Tot. Questions: hello@tyrannosaurustot.com or 540-207-3018.

Books and art supplies

Return within 14 days of purchase or delivery with your receipt or order number. Items need to be unused and in their original condition, and books unread with no bent corners or marks. Refunds go back to the original payment method. Purchases made with a gift card are refunded as store credit. Sale and clearance items are final sale.

Craft kits and boxes

Kits and boxes can be returned within 14 days if the box is unopened and sealed. Once a kit is opened we can't resell it, so opened kits are final sale. If anything is missing or damaged inside, email us within 7 days with a photo and we'll send the missing piece or replace the kit.

12 Days of Craftmas pre-orders

Cancel for a full refund any time before November 23, the last day to order. After November 23 boxes are being packed and shipped, so pre-orders are final. If a box arrives damaged, email us within 7 days with a photo and we'll make it right.

Special orders

You don't pay until you pick up, so there is nothing to refund. We hold your book at the studio for 14 days after we email you that it's in. Special orders can't be returned, but you can exchange them for store credit.

Classes, Play passes and semesters

Your first class is free if you're new to the studio. Drop-in classes and Play passes are non-refundable. Play passes are good for 3 months from purchase. If you miss a class, email us and we'll schedule a free make-up.

Semester enrollments are non-refundable; we plan and prep each semester months in advance. Every missed semester class earns a free make-up token, good for the rest of that semester. If something unexpected comes up, email us and we'll look at it case by case. Class registration and payment run through Sawyer, and Sawyer's terms also apply.

Birthday parties

A $100 deposit holds your date and is non-refundable. The balance is due 48 hours before the party. If you need to reschedule, let us know at least 14 days ahead and we'll move your deposit to a new date once. Parties cancelled with less than 14 days' notice forfeit the deposit.

Memberships

Monthly memberships can be cancelled any time and stop at the end of the current month. Annual memberships are refundable within 14 days of purchase if no benefits have been used; after that they are non-refundable and don't auto-renew. Memberships are billed through Stripe.

Gift cards

Gift cards can't be returned or exchanged for cash and never expire.

Damaged or wrong items

If something arrives damaged or you got the wrong thing, email hello@tyrannosaurustot.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We'll replace it or refund you, your choice, and cover the return shipping.

How to return something

Bring it to the studio at 113 W Brookland Park Blvd during open hours, or email us for a return address if you ordered online. Online orders are refunded within 5 business days of the item reaching us. Shipping charges aren't refunded unless the return is our mistake.
